The Unknown Woman

Set in a distant future, The Unknown Woman follows an anonymous female protagonist living a comfortable, high-tech life in a nationless world order. Her comfort is disrupted by profoundly compounding losses, compelling her to shake herself awake, leave her home and explore the warmth of other suns. Eventually, she finds herself in a new community. One without the high-tech comforts nor the abundance of water at her previous home; but one that is evocative of a warmness and sense of belonging she hasn’t known in many, many years. When one of her friends disappears, her love for her friend pushes her to trek the unknown lands in search of her friend and unknowingly, on a journey examining what home means and rediscovering who she is.

The Unknown Woman is the first book in a trilogy called The Unknown. It will be followed by The Unknown Man and The Unknown City.
